New Delhi, Jan 30: Popular Game PUBG Mobile was mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his interaction with students and parents at his Pariksha Par Charcha 2.0 event in New Delhi on Tuesday, a sure sign of its popularity in India.
From this aspect, As a mother complained to the Prime Minister that her son was avoiding studies and was addicted to online games, PM Modi replied: "PUBG-wala hai kya? (is he a PUBG gamer?)". Relatable. The audience roared with laughter.
On a serious note, the Prime Minister stressed that it was not good to dissuade children from technology. "Explore ways in which you encourage your children towards accepting and understanding technology. But remember, technology should be used to expand our horizons, not to let it shrink us in our life. It should not be allowed to narrow us down, as that would be very harmful for us," Modi advised.
While Prime Minister Modi s neutral answer to the question may have won him hearts across the country, there s no doubt online games have been a major source of distraction for kids these days. The immense addiction to PUBG MOBILE is apparently real. In fact, children are known to play PUBG even in school or college campuses.
