Big Blow to Congress Party: Karthik Reddy Resigned

Hyderabad, Nov 15: Here is the Big Blow for the congress party is that, former Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy s son and firebrand youth leader Karthik Reddy raised revolt against Congress.

Karthik Reddy has resigned for Congress party protesting against allotting Rajendranagar constituency to Telugudesam Party as part of Grand Alliance.

In this regard, He warned that every single Congress worker in Rajendranagar constituency will resign for the party.





It is known that, Congress allotted Rajendranagar seat to TDP as part of alliance. TDP selected Ganesh Gupta as its candidate on Wednesday night. Upon knowing this development, an irate Karthik Reddy held a meeting with his followers and Rajendranagar constituency Congress cadre today morning. After taking the opinions of local Congress cadres, Karthik Reddy announced his resignation and stressed that if Rajendranagar seat is not allotted to him, then he will assume that his resignation has been accepted.

Though several leaders protested on the way tickets were distributed in Congress, revolt by Karthik Reddy whose family has considerable hold in several constituncies in undivided Rangareddy district has given a jolt for TPCC leadership. Karthik took the opportunity to fire on TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
