3 militants killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 16 : Three militants were killed on Monday during a gunfight with security forces in south Kashmir s Anantnag district, police said.The bodies we,re recovered from Awoora village."An operation against the militants resumed on Monday morning after it was suspended on Sunday evening," a senior police officer said.The gunfight erupted on Sunday following information about the presence of the militants hiding in a house in the village.A police officer said that operation against militants on Sunday was postponed to Monday morning.3 militants were killed during the gunfight with security forces in south Kashmir s Anantnag district.
