Modi about Priyanka's entry in politics

New Delhi, January 24: As we know that Priyanka Gandhi was formally entered in politics on Wednesday. Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, Congress president Rahul Gandhi appointed Priyanka as the general secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh East.

In this regard, Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded on Priyanka Gandhi's entry into politics saying that in the BJP, decisions are not taken considering a person or a family. Modi was interacting with BJP booth workers in Maharashtra when he made the statement.

He said, "BJP does not take decisions based on what one person or one family wants, and that's why it is said mostly that in Congress family is the party, but in BJP party is the family."

He also added, “In our party, decisions are taken on the basis of what party workers want.”
