ASIFA NISHA A helping hand for Transgenders

Every Individual had undergone some kind of problem due to COVID. At the same time Transgenders have equally faced many problems and many challenges. Their situation was tough to imagine. Their one of the major sources of income was people who work for small companies small scale businesses. Most of them lost their jobs and for a few it did an immeasurable damage. Situations have become much worse in such a way their survival was difficult to live.

On the other hand, many of the Transgenders got affected to COVID but none could help them in their needs and were not supportive in other means as well. They were even not allowed to take the Out Patients in hospitals, where many of them are aids infected, diabetic those with BP.

When there is no one to look after them, Asifa Nisha, a Transgender who works with Cyberabad Commissionerate located in Gachibowli, took a step forward and helped many people financially and also been supportive for any kind of help. She collected the donations distributed them to the needy.

But, now the virus has taken its 2nd turn. The problems began with the second wave with an expansive effect on Transgenders. By looking at so many helpless homeless people, the incident shook her again. She wishes the Government to take the initiative to help Transgenders and give the vaccine to all of them.

Asifa Nisha have been appreciated for her endless efforts during the pandemic, irrespective of her own safety. "When it comes to Humanity, it should be irrespective of gender," believes Asifa Nisha.
