Turtle smugglers caught by STF

Utter Pradesh, January 11: While the wild animals are contributing due to lack of forests and also some culprits. In some areas miscreant also caught the wild animals for selling purpose.

In this regard, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police are caught up the wildlife smuggling gang operating from Etawah district on Friday and seized 327 turtles, police said.

From this operation, four members were arrested. The information from STF official, the gang was smuggling turtles and was busted after a tip. The 327 turtles were kept in 10 sacks and hidden in the boot of a car.
