Hrithik Roshan has informed in twitter yesterday that his father Rakesh Roshan, who underwent surgery for early-stage throat cancer today, is in a stable condition as the surgery went off well.

Many celebrities were pouring their good wishes for his good health. Prime minister Narendra Modi has tweeted "Dear Hrithik, praying for the good health of Shri Rakesh Roshan Ji.
