Gangtok, December 29: The Indian Army has saved over 2000 tourists stranded close to the seventeenth Mile in East geographic region on the point of the India-China border following significant precipitation, a politician aforementioned.


The tourists were coming back from Nathu La and Tsomgo (Changu) Lake on Friday evening once precipitation within the region blocked roads, feat over three hundred to four hundred civil vehicles stranded at numerous points on Jawaharlal Nehru Road, East geographic region District Collector Mr. Kapil Meena aforementioned.
