MODI...100 Days?

New Delhi, December 23: The victory of Congress and TRS in recently concluded state assembly elections has become a nightmare for BJP and there is a lot of internal deliberation within the party to find new methods to win the 2019 elections.

BJP president Amit Shah had discussions with Prime Minister Modi and various other leaders after the defeat in the state polls. The Results have also raised many questions over the future of the party winning 2019 Lokasbha Polls.

The Party feels that it would come back to power in 2019 and Modi would becomePM once again as they feel that the defeat was very narrow in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and the PM s Developmental pitch would bring votes. However some Senior BJP members such as Subramanian Swamy feel that 2019 battle must be brought on the agenda of Anti-corruption and Hindutva which include construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya and Development may not garner votes .

Currently, BJP is in dilemma on the agenda for 2019 and has failed to impress some of there core voters such as Middle class and traders who were badly affected by GST and Demonetization. The party has also neglected issues of the Hindu Community and this was clearly visible in the defeat of 3 North Indian states.

Recently many leaders have suggested some moves to electrify the youth and some of them include giving tax sops to the middle class, construction of Ram temple at earliest and sending some top Congress politicians to jail based on corruption charges.

Finally, the party believes that current anti-incumbency can be turned its favor once its star campaigner PM Modi would campaign again and present his developmental card and many people feel that his actions in coming 100 days would decide
his fate and it is in his hands.
