Electricity engineer held for taking bribe

Sidhi (Madhya Pradesh), Dec 19 : A junior engineer in the Madhya Pradesh electricity department was arrested red-handed on Monday for taking a bribe of Rs 20,000 in the state s Pradesh s Sidhi district.Junior engineer Narendra Tiwari caught Shiv Kumar Sahu few days ago for keeping an illegal electricity connection, and in return for silence, demanded a Rs 20,000 bribe, Rewa Police Superintendent (Lokayukta) T.K. Vidyarthi informed to the media.Vidyarthi said that a complaint was filed against Tiwari in the court and after confirmation, Lokayukta police went to his office and caught him taking a bribe.
