Unique cards for Physically challenged People

New Delhi December 13 : For the first time, the union government has now decided to issue unique identity cards for physically challenged persons and the project will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with in a month.Based on the success of Aadhar card enrollment, Govt came back with the another new project.Prior to the launch of the project, the Centre has sought a few details from the beneficiaries like their photographs, signature, medical certificate, details of Aadhar card and voter ID card.The applicants have to submit the scanned copies of these documents online (or) through post.All these criteria can be sent to http://www.swavlambancard.gov.in or submit soft copies to http://ksgheasso.blogspot.com or Karnataka State Government Disable employees Association.All the physically disabled persons possessing the card will get the benefits by the Govt.The unique identity card contains 18 numbers and the field contains year, state, district and age respectively.There are three cards available according to the disability.If disability less than 40% = white cardIf disability in between 40 - 80% = Yellow cardIf disability above 80% = Blue card.The Govt has been implementing the project firstly in 6 months and later in other states.However, they did not mentioned the first 6 states.
