Old man held for raping minor

Hyderabad February 09: A 70-year-old man from Injapur, Vanasthalipuram was arrested for raping an 11-year-old school girl. The accused Krishna, a carpenter, showed the girl porn videos and later sexually assaulted her in his house.According to the police officials, Vanasthalipuram Police Station Inspector S Murali Krishna said that the accused is known to the family of the victim.The official said that victim s parents are daily wagers and the girl used to be alone at home after returning from school.A case under IPC section 376 (Rape) and the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered.The accused used to call her at his home when he was alone.
