CBN clarifies his stand on English medium issue

The YCP government's scheme to introduce English medium in government schools has received backlash from the Opposition parties. However TDP Chief Chandra Babu clarified that TDP was not against English education.

Speaking to the media, he said, "There are rumours being spread that TDP is against development of lower classes. We agree that English education is important but it only has to be an addition to the existing curriculum."

The former CM stated that the TDP's main focus is about preserving Telugu and the culture and traditions in the state. He slammed YCP for trying to instigate people against TDP by spreading rumours.
