Polavaram project reverse tendering has become a hot topic lately. While YCP government has been arguing that calling for reverse tendering will save funds, TDP leaders are saying that reverse tenders will prolong the construction process.
Just as tension was building, the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave some much-needed clarity regarding the reverse tendering process.
"Calling for reverse tendering is a revolutionary move. No other state government has done it. We had already saved Rs 782 crores through reverse tendering. This is a successful implementation," he saved.
Jagan went on to say that each and every project which will cost the state government more than Rs 100 crores will be put through judicial review in order to eradicate corruption.
TDP leaders were breathing fire on YS Jagan for not responding on the Polavaram project reverse tendering. The YCP chief took how own sweet time to speak about the same.
