Tollywood Filmmaker Vijaya Bapineedu Passes Away

Hyderabad, Feb 12: Here is the breaking news that, Veteran director, screenwriter and producer Vijaya Bapineedu passed away at his residence in Hyderabad here on today.

The doyen filmmaker gave the Telugu film industry some of its blockbuster hits like Khaidi 786, Gang Leader, Big Boss, Magadheerudu to name a few.

Vijaya Bapineedu was best known for his collaborations and hit films with renowned actors like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Shobhan Babu, Superstar Krishna, Rajendra Prasad and others.

Vijaya Bapineedu began his career as a magazine editor and went on to direct over 25 Telugu films apart from also producing over 40 Films.The eminent filmmaker who was born in Eluru passed away after a prolonged illness at the age of 83.
