Governor praises welfare schemes of Telangana

Hyderabad, January 26: Republic Day celebrations tremendously held in Parade Grounds, Governor ESL Narasimhan was the Chief guest to this occasion. After flag hosting, Narasimhan spoke about the Telangana s development.

While speaking about the programs and schemes of KCR Governer said that KCR arises as a solid leader in the country for implementing welfare schemes for Telangana people, he also added, "the political stability in the state has been achieved by the KCR."


Governor stated that in the last four and half years he has provided a brilliant and wonderful start to the road to progress. The Telangana Government has formed an office for the second time, will secure the state in all-round development. Welfare programmes are being implemented at a whopping Rs. 40,000 Crore per year. Telangana State governance can well be termed the “Golden era” for welfare.

No other state in the country and even the Center has provided such funds for welfare as Telangana has. The Government has reduced the age limit for old age pension to 57 years and now the pension amount was doubled. The State Government has launched the massive Mission Bhagiratha programme, one of its kind drinking water programme in the State.


The plan to increase the agriculture output, thanks to the 24-hour-uninterrupted power supply and better irrigation facilities. “I feel extremely proud to announce that Telangana is the only State in the country, which is providing 24-hour-uninterrupted and free power to the agriculture sector." One more beneficial scheme for farmers, Rythu Bandhu launched by this Governor has reduced the suicides of farmers and it is also won appreciation from none other than the United Nations itself. Several states are following the Telangana State model.

The proud moment for Telangana people by both RythuBandhu, RythuBheema schemes have become role models to others.
