C-Voter survey TRS

Hyderabad, January 24: Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections polling agency C-Voter survey to convey that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in Telangana will again show their car race in this Elections too and they may estimate 16 will win out of 17 seats.

The survey estimated that Congress and the BJP will not get any seat but All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi was likely to retain his seat.

The survey estimated votes, TRS will get 42.4%, Congress-led UPA will get 29%, BJP-led NDA will get 12.7% and 7.7% for the AIMIM.

In this regard, TRS Working President KTR responded to this survey and he tweeted, "Delighted that Republic-C-Voter survey is predicting a clean sweep of 16 Loksabha seats for TRS in Telangana."

Asaduddin Owaisi, Hyderabad MP also responded the survey, "Inshallah 17 Lok Sabha MPs for Federal Front (16 TRS & 1 MIM )& 0 for Congress & BJP (sic)."

In the recent Assembly Elections TRS got 46.9% vote share, Congress was 28.4%, BJP had bagged 7%, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS), both allies of the Congress during the elections, grab a vote share of 3.5% and 0.5% respectively.
