A crockpot is a thick cooking pot with a thick base. Usually, crockpot cooking is a slow cooking process where all ingredients go into a single pot. It is the most healthy way of cooking and helps in maintaining the nutrients of every dish prepared in it. Let us check out some of the best Crock-pot recipes.

Recipe 1: Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup(American style)

2 skinless boneless chicken breasts 1 to 1 1/2 pounds and may use thighs
32-48 oz chicken broth see recipe notes
2 carrots
2 stalks celery
1 onion medium
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 cup dry noodles see recipe notes


Peel and cut two carrots into medallions, a medium onion chopped and slice two stalks of celery.
Trim and cut two skinless boneless chicken breast into cubes.
Add the chicken and veggies to a small slow cooker (3 1/2 Ltr.). Add 1/2 tsp of salt and pepper. Add one bay leaf. 32-48 oz of chicken broth or stock. For more soup, add more broth
Cook on low for 4 hours. After the first 3 hours, add 1 1/2 cups of dry noodles and let cook the final hour.

Your Chicken noodles soup is ready to serve.

Recipe 2: Extra Thick Crock Pot Cheeseburger Soup (American style)

This recipe is the best when its cold outside and you want to eat something hot and yummy.

3-4 medium potatoes
2 medium carrots
1 rib celery
1 small onion
2 cups chicken broth
1/4kg ground beef
8 tablespoons butter
1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4kg cheese

Peel and chop 3-4 medium potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes to make 3-4 cups. Peel and shred 2 medium carrots and chop one small onion and one stalk of celery.
Add veggies to larger crock pot. Add 2 cups low sodium chicken broth.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
At 4 hours, pan fry ground beef with little butter and add to the crockpot.
Melt one 8 tablespoons butter. Add 1/2 cup flour, whisk for several minutes until changing color slightly. Add 2 1/2 cup milk. Whisk continuously for a few minutes while adding 1/4 cup of sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
Add to crock pot and mix well. Add 1 pound cheese of choice. Cook one additional hour on HIGH.
