Hyderabad, December 23 : There have been a rash of chain-snatching incidents are rising on women in the city. This has assumed such an alarming proportion that some women in the state have stopped wearing gold jewelry. one of this incident took place at Chilakalaguda and Varasiguda.In neredmet, gold chains were snached by two young men. They came fastly and grabbed the chain from a woman weighing of 25 gm of gold. In Varasisiguda, they have stealen a gold chain weighing of 35 gm of gold from an old woman.Traffic came to a halt for a few seconds and the chain-snatchers, who were speeding, had to stop their bike. Within no time, the locals caught up with them. They are came on black Pulsar bike used by the snatchers with no registration plates, both in front and rear side.Police were filed a case on these chain snatching incidents and started investigation.they were checking thoroughly checking the at check-posts on the basis of CCTV footage.
