Currency notes floating in drain

Visakhapatnam, Dec 1 : On Wednesday, in the colony of VUDA Mithilapuri, the denomination notes of Rs 500 are floating in drain seen by the public. The notes which are floating in drain were turned out to be fake ones.The news spread from the local people, that two unknown persons had dumped the bundles of fake currency notes into the drain on the morning of Wednesday. People of that area are excited by seeing the currency notes in the drain, some of them went into the drain and started collecting the currency notes. But after noticing the currency notes collected by them are fake they get disappointed. K. Lakshmana Murthy, Palem inspector said it was done by the gangs of handiwork who wanted to circulate fake currency notes. They dipped the fake currency notes into the drain because they felt there is no use of the denomination notes after demonetization. Some of the special teams are appointed by the officials to identify the culprits he said.
