The Govt should control the Cabs

Hyderabad, March 13: Already, The Government has made many developments and also trying to modernise the public transportation. The officials of transportation department have taken a decision to provide a cab service under police surveillance by considering the protection of women.

In past 2 years, there are 25,000 cabs are operated, but in the present situation, the no. of cabs has crossed the 70000 above.In those, Most of the cabs don't have service and except OLA and UBER cabs.

It was very difficult to identify the taxi cabs, while compared to other cars.There has more demand to cab service, then no. of cabs are hiking day by day.The Officials of Transport dept. has showing negligence at the time of registration taxis, whether it has the same colour (or) not? and confirmation of GPS service.

The citizens have mostly habituated cab services has become a part of RTC, MMTS. Thousands of vehicle have been coming from other districts also along with registered vehicles of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal district regions, then private partnership has become important for the transport.

Hence, the no. of cabs has raised. If it will be continued, The govt will lose the grip of Public transportation.

However, Taxi cabs must have the same colour along with GPS service and also linked up with the Police dept. It is also the responsibility of Transportation dept, Experts said.
