A woman filed a complaint against AIMIM MLA

Hyderabad, March 06: A Police complaint has been filed against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLA Kausar Khan and his followers at Banjara Hills police station on Sunday, for allegedly threatening a woman, who was a worker of TRS party.

According to the police, the incident took place after she reportedly intervened in a verbal altercation between one Shahrukh and Khan’s brother.

Shahrukh first lodged a complaint against Khan's brother, accusing the latter of verbally abusing him.

"Shahurkh stays near the MLA's house and was involved in the argument with the lawmaker's brother in the past too over some issues," a police officer said.

Sana Khan, who claims to be a TRS worker, also intervened as Shahrukh was her associate. "We will register a case only after a preliminary investigation," the officer said.
