Man held for molesting minor girl in Delhi

New Delhi, March 1: A Dwarka resident has been arrested on the charge of molesting a minor girl living in his neighborhood, police said on Tuesday.

Accused Vijay, 24, lured the 13-year-old girl on the pretext of buying her sweets on Monday night. However, he took her to a deserted place and molested her, police said.

"The victim escaped his clutches and told her parents about the incident after reaching home. The parents and local residents later caught hold of him and manhandled him before handing him over to police," a police officer said.

Police have registered a case of molestation.
