TRS MLC fires on Congress for facebook posts

Hyderabad, February 21: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Karne Prabhakar on Monday said cases should be booked under the IT Act against youth Congress leaders who were using the social media to defame chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

At a press conference here, he said, Telangana Lawyers JAC had already approached the police on this issue.

Prabhakar pointed out that KCR was being defamed on a Facebook page. He said an FB post was doing the rounds which quote's KCR as having said that he would provide a government job for every household.

"The CM did not say that.When he laid the foundation stone for the Munugodu Char lagudem project, he gave an assurance that everyone displaces because of the project would be provided a government job," Prabhakar clarified. He also said the defamatory posts could attract a punishment of three years in jail and therefore warned those indulging in it not to defame the CM on Telangana
