NEET 2017 : Qualifying marks to be reduced

NEW DELHI, February 21: Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas today urged Union Health Minister J P Nadda to lower the cut-off score in the exam to have a qualification of more students from the state for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET),.

Mr. Srinivas met Mr.Nadda and asked for the reduction in the cut-off marks. He said that it would help more students qualify for courses under the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test from the state.

"The Union minister accepted my request in principle and assured a positive outcome. The move would help fill up vacant seats, including in non-clinical courses, in government colleges," Srinivas said.

For the students of Rayalaseema region, Andhra Pradesh Health Minister requested for a NEET exam center in Tirupati. there are two other exam centers in Andhra Pradesh, one in Vijayawada and another in Vizag.
