KCR decided to solve the problems of Handlooms

Hyderabad, February 19: An announcement has been addressed by the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday, which states that, to resolve the problems of handlooms and power loom weavers in the state.

After conducting a review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan last evening, he has decided to convene a meeting with handloom and powerloom workers of Sircilla today at his official residence.

The Chief Minister said that the weavers who have been facing serious problems for long need a helping hand. According to sources, he has been working out on a draft action plan which would be fine-tuned today after his meeting with the weavers so that their occupation can become profitable.

Expressing his anguish over the problems the weavers were facing, the Chief Minister remarked that the weavers were in dire strait and were even committing suicides. Hence, there is an urgent need to solve their problems.
