3 additional zones added to Telangana

Hyderabad, February 16: In the formation of Telangana's new districts, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation(TSIIC) had been decided to reform the zones in the state.

The govt has been given the permission to TSIIC for the establishment of new zones, which are Nizamabad, Khammam, and Yadadri as centers and siddhipet as a sub-zone.

Presently, TSIIC have 6 zones, there are Cyberabad, Shamshabad, Jeedimetla, Patancheruvu, Warangal, Karimnagar.The 3 zones are added for ease of administration due to the increase the no. of districts from 10 to 31 in Telangana and also improve the changes of zones formation.

Telangana Minister T Harish Rao suggested that, To set up a develop center for industries as a center of SIDDIPET.But TSIIC decided that, Siddipet as a sub-zone.

Telangana Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao agree on the decision of TSIIC chairman Balamallu regarding the reformation of zones.

Division of Zones following below:

* Nizamabad Zone : Nizamabad, Adilabad, Kum Bhim, Nirmal, Kamareddi districts

* Karimnagar Zone: Karimnagar, Manchiryal, Peddapalli, jagityala, sirisilla districts

* Warangal Zone: Urban Warangal, Warangal Rural, bhupalapalli, janagama districts

* Khammam Zone: Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahabubabad districts

* Medchal-SIDDIPET Zone: SIDDIPET, MEDCHAL districts

* Yadadri Zone: yadadri, Nalgonda, Suryapet districts

* Patancheruvu Zone: Sangareddy, Medak districts

* Shamshabad Zone: Ranga Reddy district (Serilingapalli, Rajendranagar, Gandipeta, Sankarpalli, Moinabad, Chevella zones), Hyderabad, Vanaparthi, Jogulamba, Nagarkurnool districts

* Cyberabad zone: Vikarabad, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy district, some zones.
