Hotel fined Rs. 1.5 lakh for water

Hyderabad, February 1: The City Hotel was imposed with a massive penalty by the GHMC officials after an appraisal. GHMC Mayor Rammohan here on Tuesday observed the water flowing onto the main road in AS Rao Nagar.

Soon after noticing it, there was an inquiry held and finally, it was known that waste water was being outlined by the Swagath Grand Hotel staff.

The team of GHMC accursed the damage to the roads near the hotel on their proactive. The Mayor immediately enquired with the officials on the amount required to repair the roads and was given an estimation of Rs. 1.5lakh.

The officials were informed to fine the hotel with the evaluated amount. Adding to that, the mayor also said that water logging and damage to the roads posed a risk to the individuals who travel by that roads on regular basis.

Not only Swagath Grand but also the notices were issued to Maruti Builders and Maruthi Tent House for similar annoyance likely dumping garbage (or) construction waste on the road.
