Duster fight drawn into death

Kothagudem January 28: It is natural for children to fight, giving blows each other. But the teachers have to intervene and compromise them. Otherwise, the students may even lose their lives.

A class X student was beaten to death allegedly by a fellow student following a brawl in a classroom at the Zilla Parishad High School in the Mandal headquarters town of Chandrugonda on Friday.

Police said T. Bhanuprakash, 15, a class X student, and one of his classmates had a minor scuffle over a petty issue during the break.

Two 10th class students fought over a duster. One of a duo, Bhanuprakash was beaten up severely. He collapsed and died on the spot.

Claiming School Headmaster responsible for the incident, the villagers organized rasta roko. They demanded headmaster's suspension, who failed to inculcate good conduct among the students.
