Entering into the details, a young man stabbed his lover leaving her seriously injured after he recorded her conversation with another man over the mobile phone at Elvinpet in Kakinada, East Godavari district of AP, on today morning.

Chandrasekhar after being arrested by police said he heard the recorded conversation of his lover Dhanalakshmi with some x-man.

Chandrasekhar and Dhanalakshmi were living together.

Police said, the accused stabbed the woman 17 times and she is undergoing treatment in a critical condition. The accused is also undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the incident.

A case of attempt to murder under Section 306 IPC has been booked on the youngman and he is kept in remand, police said.
