Aamir khan promised village people

Mumbai December 30 : The festive season is truly celebratory for the 'Dangal' team as the Aamir Khan starer sports drama, which released last week got 376 Crore gross +. According to its makers, the film also registered the "biggest single day collections ever in India" on Sunday.

While shooting of 'Dangal', Aamir Khan promised the people of Balali in Haryana where Wrestler Mahavir Phogat's Family lives that he would arrange free movie show for enter village at the time of release.

As the neared theater is at least 100 mms away from Balali Village, Aamir Khan provided transport facilities for the villagers to reach the spot. He booked entire theater and also arranged snacks during the interval break.

Balali Village people are nearly 500 Members. Almost all of them had come to the screening of 'Dangal'. After watching it, They even spoke to Aamir over phone and showered praises.

Besides 'Dangal', most of Aamir's films in the past have been part of the Rs 100-crore club. These include 'PK', 'Dhoom: 3' and '3 Idiots', which too released around Christmas and created History in Bollywood.
