Tollywood will have to face yet another crisis

Tollywood has been the most successful film industry in India, post the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown in the country. Films are releasing almost every weekend in the Telugu states, and theatres are opening to house full boards.


With inspiration from Tollywood, several Bollywood films have announced their releases for this Summer. However, with several parts of Maharashtra and Mumbai under lockdown, the situation for Bollywood looks very doubtful, as Maharashtra is the biggest market for Bollywood.

On the other hand, the situation in the Telugu states is still under control, but officials are concerned that the situation might worsen any time soon if proper measures are not taken. It is now to be seen what will happen, and Tollywood will have to face yet another crisis.
