Sharmila shouted Jai Telangana

YS Sharmila had recently announced that she will be turning active in Telangana politics and she will be floating her own political party very soon.


Today, Sharmila met with YSR loyalists in Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts.

What caught the attention of everyone in today's meeting is that Sharmila shouted "Jai Telangana" before starting her speech.

Sharmila has been promoting herself as the daughter-in-law of Telangana as her husband hails from the state. She is trying to get close to the common public in Telangana. Now, she is using "Jai Telangana" motto.

In the meeting, Sharmila said there is some political vacuum in Telangana and she has started working on her party which will be officially launched very soon.

While a few say Sharmila's political entry will have very little effect on Telangana politics, a few say it will be a decisive factor in the next general elections.
