Jagan Mohan Reddy set to appoint Neelam Sahni as new SEC Andhra Pradesh!

Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, who is presently serving as the Election Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh will be stepping down on 31st March this year as his 5-year tenure comes to an end.

Meanwhile, the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is already working on finalizing the new candidate for the SEC post.

Apparently, Neelam Sahni who recently completed her tenure as the chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh is the favorite to bag the SEC post.

Apparently, Jagan is impressed with Neelam work ethic and efficiency. So, he wants to appoint her as the new state election commissioner once Nimmagadda tenure comes to an end.

Meanwhile, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is trying his best to hold the local body elections by the time his tenure is over.

However, the high court recently canceled the election commission order regarding local body elections notification.
