A big blow to Congress Komatireddy to join BJP

Telangana Congress Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy senior leader, who has been an integral member of the party for many years now has decided to call it quits with the age-old party.

Rajagopal Reddy stated that he wishes to sever ties with Congress party and join the Bharatiya Janata party.


I strongly feel that BJP is the only alternative for TRS in Telangana and wish to join the saffron party soon, he said.

The senior leader went on to say that he feels BJP would offer him the right platform to fight against TRS and that is exactly what he has been waiting for all the while.

Rajagopal Reddy departure could come as a big blow to Congress party which is already struggling to hold its ground in Telangana.

Meanwhile, Rajagopal Reddy brother, Venkat Reddy is one of the front-runners to bag Telangana Congress president post.
