New Corona Virus.. AP elections update..

A new strain of novel coronavirus was detected in the United Kingdom recently and many countries have imposed a travel ban on UK. Even the Indian healthcare department is on high alert and is closely monitoring tourists and other people who are landing in the country.


Interestingly enough, the governments of Maharashtra and Karnataka have already imposed night curfew in order to avoid the second wave of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Election Commission is busy planning for the forthcoming local body elections.

Amidst so much uncertainty and high drama, it would he really interesting to see if the Election Commission would actually go on to hold the local body elections.

The state government is strongly opposing the local body elections and are citing the potential transmission of Covid as the reason. We should wait and see if the election commission will change its mind and halt the election procedure or go forward with it.
