The government of Andhra Pradesh has been extensively projecting late chief minister of the state YS Rajasekhar Reddy by including his photo and name in most of the government schemes.
A petition was filed against the usage of YSR's photos for government schemes and the high court passed the final orders in this regard today.
"YS Rajasekhar Reddy served as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh previously. What is wrong in using his photos for government schemes? The high court does not intend to take this case forward," read the statement.
Well, the YCP government has been facing some criticism for naming every other scheme after Rajasekhar Reddy or Jagan. But the high court has refused to interfere with this.
Meanwhile, YCP forces are arguing that Jagan is doing extremely well as the chief minister and there is nothing wrong in projecting his late father who was a legendary chief minister.
