Latest Corona Virus case Updates in India

For over a week, India has been recording a huge number of cases, topping every other country with the most number of cases in a day.


However, the last 24 hours saw a decline in the number of cases in more than a week, with only 55,079 cases being recorded. A total of 875 deaths have also been recorded in the last 24 hours.

The total number of cases have now gone up to 27,02,742. The number of recovered cases have gone up to 19,77,779, with 57,937 people having been recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours.

The rate of recovery has now gone up to 73.17%, nearly a whole 1% more than the last 24 hours.

Testing has been ramped up in the country, which is resulting in more people being identified with the virus in a single day. More social distancing and proper precautionary measures will result in the country combating the virus sooner than expected.
