Nani's Upcoming film 'V' Updates

Natural Star Nani's 25th movie, V directed by his first film director, Mohankrishna Indraganti might be heading towards an OTT release. With the current pandemic situation being as it is, halting major leisure based businesses like films, travel and hospitality from any progress, some strong decisions are being taken by producers from Telugu Film Industry, as well.

They have been waiting for the theatres to re-open by August or September but that won't be the case in the prevailing conditions. They cannot expect theatres to operate on full size crowds like regular too.



So, waiting till January or February with many other films in the pipeline will be risky and if people are too scared to watch films at theatres even by then, it will be a great wastage of money and opportunity too.

Producers are getting good deals from various OTT platforms to release their films online and "Dil Bechara"success prompted that the audiences just need good content and popular cast among the ranks to watch a film. Even Ram Gopal Varma's cheap budget films did collect their revenue back, as per his claims on a pay-per-view model.



It will be hard to accept for fans and heroes but OTT release is definitely an opportunity that producers cannot overlook, any longer. Never paid before amounts for a Nani film are offered by OTT giants for his V premiere on their platforms, say reports.

Also, Dil Raju the producer of the film, feels the film genre might be suitable for OTT audiences than theater crowds. If the news turns out to be true this movie will be first biggie to release directly on OTT from Telugu Cinema. Let's wait for an official announcement from the producer's side. Sudheer Babu, Aditi Rao Hydari, Nivetha Thomas are playing other lead roles in the film.
