Raina comments on IPL 2020

The BCCI delivered some good news to cricket fans across the globe by announcing that the IPL will be definitely be held this year. The much-awaited tournament will be held in UAE this year in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic in India.

Speaking of which, Chennai Super Kings star player Suresh Raina said the team will be leaving to UAE soon.

"Chennai Super kings franchise and players are willing to leave to UAE in the month of August itself. We want to reach there a month ahead of the commencement of the tournament in order to get used to the conditions," he said.

Raina further added that CSK players aim to be match fit before the tournament commences and that is the reason why they will be leaving to UAE a month in advance.

There are less than two months left for the tournament and all the franchises have started requesting their players to be available for training sessions. IPL 2020 will kick-start from September 19th, as said by the IPL president.
