Hyderabad in danger zone day by day

Nearly 1000 people are testing positive every single day in the state of Telangana, with the most number of cases being from Hyderabad.


The state saw an addition of 945 cases in the last 24 hours, with 869 of them coming from Hyderabad alone. This is nearly 90% of the total number of cases, which is more than worrying.

The total number of Coronavirus cases in Telangana now stand at 16,339, with the death to reaching 260.

Until June 15th, the total number of cases in Telangana stood at 5,193. However, after the state started to test more number of people, the number of cases went up to 15,394 by June 29th. After that, the state reduced the number of tests per day, but that's definitely not the solution.

If the state doesn't conduct enough tests, the situation will only become worse, with the risk of more people coming in contact with the virus.

Re-imposing a lockdown is not the ultimate solution to reducing the number of cases in the city. More testing and better handling of the situation is more important.
