Andhra Pradesh might be touching the 40,000 cases

As per the expert analysis, Andhra Pradesh might be touching the 40,000 coronavirus positive cases mark in the next two months. It is said that the government of Andhra Pradesh has already started preparing to tackle the situation.


As of now, there are a total of 37,869 beds for the treatment of symptomatic patients in isolation wards.

As said by a source close to the government of Andhra Pradesh, the state government has procured an additional 40,000 beds. 22,000 of these beds will have dedicated oxygen supply systems.

Andhra Pradesh has 5365 ICU beds as of now and the government is planning to add more beds in the days to come.

India is likely to witness a Coronavirus peak in the next two months and the country is preparing for the same.

As per the last medical bulletin, a total of 13,098 coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Andhra Pradesh till now.
