Telangana Under Danger.. records 37% Covid positive rate

As per the latest medical bulletin released by the government of Telangana, the state has reported a total of 975 new Coronavirus positive cases till 5 PM yesterday.

Incidentally, a total of 2648 samples were tested in Telangana yesterday and 975 of them returned positive.


The infection rate is a staggering 37% as per yesterday's numbers and this is one of the scariest statistic in recent times. Roughly, 1 in 3 samples which were tested yesterday returned positive and that pretty much sums up the current situation.

Also, 6 new deaths were reported in Telangana yesterday, taking the tally to 253. The total number of cases are 15,394.

Telangana is expected to ramp up the testing procedure starting from tomorrow and we can expect a further plunge in the number of new cases.

The mortality rate in Telangana is less than 2%. 9559 cases are still active while 5582 people have been cured and discharged till date.
