TS conducting more tests

The state of Telangana saw very few cases of Coronavirus in the very beginning. At a point, the ratio of cured cases to active cases was so impressive that everyone thought Telangana would soon see the end of Coronavirus.

However, it later on came to light that the state of Telangana hadn't been conducting enough tests in the state, because of which the rate of new cases was very less.

With the state government now conducting more tests, the rate at which the cases are increasing is very high. More than 3,500 cases have been reported in the state in the last one week. This is more than 40% of the total number of cases in the state so far.

With testing ramped up, Telangana is likely to emerge as one of the biggest hotspots in the country in the next few days, with Hyderabad at the centre of it.
