China and the United States of America are currently in a state of cold war, because of the widespread outbreak of Coronavirus.
Anti-Chinese sentiments have started out all over the world, and the sentiment is stronger in the US, with the country being the most affected by the virus.
The Chinese have now warned India against siding with the US in this cold war, as India would largely suffer because of it. China said that India couldn't afford an economic hit because of the side it choses to take. India will greatly surfer if it takes the side of the US in this conflict, especially because the bilateral ties with China will suffer, which might turn out to be a great loss for us.
With tbe already boiling up border tensions between China and India, siding with the US wouldn't be so favorable for India. This is since India has to now concentrate on building up its economy which has been suffering because of the Coronavirus lockdown. India has to also deal with the ever increasing Coronavirus cases in the country.
