Situation getting worse in Andhra Pradesh

The number of Coronavirus cases are only increasing in India with each passing day. The nationwide lockdown is not able to curb the spread of the virus anymore.

The state of Andhra Pradesh is testing more and more samples everyday, to be able to identify more number of positive cases.

A total of 38 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours, taking the total count in AP to 2018. Out of this, 998 people have been cured and discharged, while 45 people have died. A total of 975 cases are now positive.

India is now in the last week of the third phase of the lockdown. The green and orange zones in India have been given a few relaxations since May 4th, while the red zones are observing total lockdown.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with the Chief Ministers of various states today, and they are expected to discuss about an exit strategy to this lockdown.
