Telangana Common entrance tests postponed

In view of the extended lockdown till April 30, all Telangana State Common Entrance Tests (TSCETs) have been postponed untill further notice as announced by Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE). T Papi Reddy, TSCHE Chairaman, said that ne dates will be announced after discussion with the government. Meanwhile, the last date for payment of fee without late fee has been extended till May 5th.



Incidentally, all Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) and other CETs scheduled in May include TS Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) for diploma holders of engineering, technology and pharmacy, TS Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) and TS Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) for admissions into MBA and MCA courses which were scheduled to take place in the month of May have been postponed due to COVID-19. Telangana counterpart Andhra Pradesh has also followed the suit by cancelling all the CETs exam to be held in May.

The move comes close on the heels after the Ministry of Human Resource and Development also postponed JNU, UGC-NET, JEE Mains examinations among others.
