AP: Update on new lock down

The government of Andhra Pradesh has reported that a total of 266 Coronavirus positive cases have been recorded in the state till date.

Kurnool tops the list of the districts with highest number of positive cases in Andhra Pradesh with 56.

Consequently, the state government is planning to implement a complete lockdown in Kurnool district. Except for medical shops, all the commercial outlets will be shutdown till further notice.

Guntur and Nellore stand next on the list with 34 and 32 respectively.

Meanwhile, a total of 4067 cases have been reported in India till date. The central government is planning to lift the lockdown soon, but it will ultimately depend on the rise in number of Coronavirus positive cases.
