lockdown has asserted enormous pressure

The twin Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are presently in lockdown and this will continue at least till April 15th.

The government of India is planning to lift the lockdown on April 14th in the states which donot register new cases and has already started preparations for the same.

However, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been reporting fresh cases every day. As a result, both the state governments are reluctant to lift the lockdown.

The lockdown has asserted enormous pressure on Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the financial condition took a beating. But both the state governments have prioritised the combat against Coronavirus above all.

It is being said that the respective chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, YS Jagan, and K Chandrasekhar Rao will be taking the big decision regarding the lockdown soon. They will have to convey their decision to the central government before announcing their final decision.
