Nirmala Sitharaman has announced Rs. 1.7 lakh crores

The global pandemic of Coronavirus is shaking the entire world with the rate at which it is spreading, and by taking nearly 19,000 lives. Coronavirus started out in Wuhan, in China, in December 2019, and has been spreading rapidly across the globe ever since then.

Italy is the worst hit after China, with more deaths than China. Even Spain has recorded more deaths than China. The USA is in third place after China and Italy, with the most number of positive cases.

In India, the number of cases is nearing the 700 mark, and the entire country is in a state of lockdown for 21 days, till April 14th. This is a big hit to daily wage earners, who would not be able to provide for their families. For them, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced Rs. 1.7 lakh crores.

This financial aid will now help all daily wage earners to live through this global disaster.
